Charles Dodd CISSP,IAM

Charles Dodd is the Founder and Executive Director of the Nation Information Security Research and Defense Institute (NISRAD) which is dedicated to securing U.S. critical infrastructure against cyber-based attacks. Mr. Dodd is frequently asked to give presentations, seminars, and training nationwide on Information Warfare issues with a global perspective as well as perform cybersecurity consulting.

 

Mr. Dodd has held CEO positions at Sierra Cyber Defense Systems, CISSR Technologies, and Black Ops Consulting with offices in Arlington, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Tampa, Florida. Mr. Dodd’s cybersecurity consulting services are dedicated to information assurance for Federal Government, Intelligence community, and DOD information networks. Mr. Dodd created one of the first managed security services models aimed at providing managed security services for the SMB market. 

 

Mr. Dodd has provided expert training on cyber terrorism and Information Warfare to special agents of the U.S. government, including those in the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Security Agency, U.S. Customs Cyber Crimes unit, and The U.S. Department of Interior. Mr. Dodd has recently developed the first statewide Task Force (FCDTF) in the U.S. designed to protect critical infrastructure at a state level.

 

Mr. Dodd has been a guest speaker for the SANS Institute, USENIX, the Advanced Computing Systems Association, and SAGE. He has published many technical articles and reports in the Information Security field, presented cutting-edge information security ideas at numerous technical and professional conferences around the country and is frequently quoted within the intelligence community.
